Game Build Progress
No screenshots atm, but I do have the boundaries laid out for the park and carnival levels, and will be updating the splash screen soon. Also starting the interaction for the park level, but it’s a lot so I’m not sure if I’ll have it all by Tuesday.

Hypervigilance Character

Hypervigilance is a chimera that will, upon spotting you, attempt to run away and hide from you. If it’s cornered or otherwise unable to run, it will swap to its back face and defend itself, attacking the player fi they get too close. It iwll give one warning shot before a final killing blow will wake the player back up. In order to help it, the player will have to gather items from around the map to make it feel safe, such as a box with which to make a nest, a blanket, a flashlight, and some food. Once htese items are gathered and put on a specially marked rock, a small shelter will be built and the chimera will approach and act suspicious of it before attempting to get comfortable. After it is comfortable and calmed down and feels safe, Hypervigilance can be talked to. It will express its fears and anxieties about the world and how it doesn’t want to be hurt, and be confused and suspicious of the player. The player will have to be calm and understanding while talking to it to get it ot admit that it does actually want some friends, even if the thought of trusting others is scary.
